Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using the Go Local platform at heygolocal.com (“Platform”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.

2. About the Platform

Go Local is a peer-to-peer marketplace that connects individuals offering local services (“Providers”) with individuals seeking those services (“Buyers”). UNTLD - DESIGN STUDIO, UNIPESSOAL LDA (“Go Local”, “we”, “us”) operates the Platform but is not a party to any agreement between Providers and Buyers.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Platform. By creating an account, you confirm that you meet this requirement.

4. User Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to provide accurate and complete information when creating your account.

5. Provider Obligations

Providers agree to:

• Accurately describe their services and qualifications
• Honour confirmed bookings
• Communicate professionally and promptly
• Comply with all applicable Portuguese and EU laws when performing services

6. Buyer Obligations

Buyers agree to:

• Provide accurate booking information
• Treat Providers with respect
• Pay any agreed fees directly to the Provider as arranged between parties

7. Platform Role and Limitations

Go Local is a marketplace platform only. We do not employ Providers, supervise service delivery, or guarantee the quality of any services. All transactions and agreements are solely between Providers and Buyers. We are not liable for any disputes, damages, or losses arising from services arranged through the Platform.

8. Prohibited Conduct

Users must not:

• Post false, misleading, or fraudulent listings
• Harass, threaten, or abuse other users
• Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to circumvent the Platform to avoid fees (when applicable)
• Scrape, copy, or misuse Platform data

9. Content

You retain ownership of content you post (listings, images, reviews). By posting content, you grant Go Local a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display and distribute that content on the Platform.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at our discretion if you violate these Terms or engage in conduct harmful to other users or the Platform.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Platform is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, the accuracy of listings, or the conduct of any user.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Portuguese law, UNTLD - DESIGN STUDIO, UNIPESSOAL LDA shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the Platform.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Portugal. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Lisbon, Portugal.

14. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
